Interactive Development Company has been at the forefront of a new modern wave of building design in the past several years.

The global architecture firm has been creating a name for itself in international markets thanks to its recent successes including a project it worked on to help create design concepts for the Iead architect to adapt. This was for the “Mirror Tent” in the heart of the Saudi Arabian desert. Because of the growth in modern architecture projects around the world, the company has experienced record year-on-year growth and is at the cutting edge of modern building design.

For architecture firms, there are renewed projects with ambitious concepts following the growth in developing markets across the Middle East and Europe.

Having started out as a local architecture business in Los Angeles, Interactive Development Company expanded internationally after its early successes in the late 1980s.

Now counting 213 staff including interior designers, skilled construction staff, architects and engineers, the business has forged a new international team with regional expertise in Europe and the Middle East from Valencia To Beirut.

Among some of its most prestigious projects include their design work that was part of the Guinness World Record winning mirrored building (AL Ula tent), created by a consortium of companies. Also, IDC have delivered concept designs for the Ping Pong restaurants in London, the Al Ekhbariya news channel building, Olaya Hotel, the Al Fanar Showroom and Riyadh Exhibition Centre to name a few.

To-date IDC have worked with the US Army, Saudi Electricity Company, the Ministry of Culture and Information, as well as Pepsi Co, SABB and Bank Saudi Fransi.

With the global economy experiencing a strong economic rebound, IDC has positioned itself in key markets to bring new modern design concepts to institutions, businesses and governments seeking to develop ambitious buildings that set themselves apart on the world stage.
